Green Style Swap

Our Mission

Brian Cha, CEO

GreenStyleSwap was created to minimize textile waste and support sustainable fashion by repurposing surplus materials and fostering partnerships with environmentally responsible companies. A company that we are in direct partnership with is TCE Denim. We use samples from these companies to repurpose fabrics and send them to Anthropologie. Our purpose is to improve the environment by reducing the amount of fabrics that get thrown out following exhibition showings.

Why This is Such an Issue

Exhibition Showings are held during different seasons of the year to showcase different fabrics that companies could sell in retail stores. However, many of these clothes are usually thrown away after the shows. 85% of all textiles are thrown away which is around 13 million tonnes a year. This is an issue that isn’t currently commonly addressed, so our mission is to gain the help of multiple textile companies to repurpose these fabrics.
